FR Découvrez l’oeuvre envoûtante de Dolorès Marat, première lauréate du prix du livre Robert Delpire 2023, à travers une exposition monographique composée d'une quarantaine de tirages. Dolorès Marat aime photographier à l’heure bleue, à la tombée de la nuit ou au lever du jour dans des atmosphères faiblement éclairées, vaporeuses, propices au merveilleux. Elle assume ce flou de bougé, et sa proximité avec la peinture est renforcée par son choix du tirage Fresson au charbon. Images hallucinées, visions fugitives, tout est suggéré, permettant au regardeur de s’inventer ses propres histoires.L'exposition sera également accompagnée de reportages documentaires sur l'artiste, notamment le film La vague d'Armelle Sèvre, un film documentaire sur l'oeuvre et l'univers de la photographe originaire d’Avignon.
NL Ontdek het betoverende werk van Dolorès Marat, de eerste laureate van de Robert Delpire Boekprijs 2023, via een monografische tentoonstelling met ongeveer veertig afdrukken. Dolorès Marat fotografeert graag tijdens het blauwe uur, bij zonsondergang of zonsopgang, in zacht verlichte, nevelige sferen die uitnodigen tot verwondering. Ze omarmt de bewegingsonscherpte, en haar verwantschap met de schilderkunst wordt versterkt door haar keuze voor de Fresson-kooldruk. Hallucinerende beelden, vluchtige visioenen – alles wordt slechts gesuggereerd, waardoor de toeschouwer zijn eigen verhalen kan verzinnen. De tentoonstelling wordt tevens begeleid door documentaire reportages over de kunstenares, waaronder La Vague van Armelle Sèvre, een documentaire film over het werk en de wereld van de uit Avignon afkomstige fotografe.
EN Discover the captivating work of Dolorès Marat, the first recipient of the Robert Delpire Book Award 2023, through a monographic exhibition featuring around forty prints. Dolorès Marat loves photographing during the blue hour, at dusk or dawn, in dimly lit, misty atmospheres conducive to wonder. She embraces motion blur, and her proximity to painting is enhanced by her choice of Fresson carbon prints. Hallucinated images, fleeting visions—everything is suggested, allowing the viewer to invent their own stories. The exhibition will also be accompanied by documentary features about the artist, including La Vague by Armelle Sèvre, a documentary film exploring the work and universe of the photographer from Avignon.
